i like when things go just as planned. i like when the music is loud. i like extended eye contact. i like 70 degree and sunny weather. i like a good fight. i like a perfect conversation. i like the sound of a G major chord. i like the feel of very short grass under my bare feet. i like hearing that i’m right. i like falling down and getting back up. i like friday at 5 pm. i like trying new beers. i like hanging around a group of people i’ve never met before. i like my friends better. i like my lunch hour chats with my dad. i like being able to judge how fast i’m running by how hard my ponytail is hitting my back. i like putting new videos on my ipod. i like being told secrets. i like passion. i like laughing so hard that i cry.

i hate receiving the same text that all my other friends received. i hate when people forward my emails. i hate receiving voicemails. i hate clutter. i hate tuesday at 8 am. i hate the sound of rosin being wiped off of a string. i hate being asked the same question more than twice. i hate being told i could use a piece of cake. i hate lies. i hate large amounts of attention. i hate when people know too much about me. i hate the last sip of my beer. i hate naive optimism. i hate unwarranted pessimism.
i talk too much or not at all. i have issues with authority. i’m physically self-conscious. i don’t like to be told “no.” i’m easy to talk to, easy to get along with… i just have to get used to you first. and i have plenty of pointless things to say. my favorite word is “kingdom.”
